Who We Work With

Lesson Content & Format

  • Our teachers utilize a variety of approaches, but our lessons are tailored to the needs and interests of the student. Our teachers have a rich diversity of experiences, instructional styles, and philosophies of learning - visit our teacher page to find an instructor that fits your style.

  • We offer weekly 30-minute and 60-minute in-person lessons. Group, online, and biweekly lessons may be available by request.

Billing & Pricing

  • We require autopay and collect payment information upon registration. Lessons are either prepaid every month (billed the 1st or 15th) or postpaid every week (billed the Monday following a lesson).

  • Our lessons & programs are eligible for Empowerment Scholarship Account reimbursement.

  • Pricing

    • 30-minute lesson: $30​

    • 60-minute lesson: $60

    • Rock Band: $125/month, flat fee

Recitals & Performances

  • Seasonal Recitals and Rock Band concerts are held four times a year in the Civano Rotunda, just steps away from the Fretboard studios.

  • Recitals are open to all ages and abilities.

  • Community performance opportunities are typically offered throughout the year (Vail Pride Day, Tunes Between the Tracks)

Location

Feagin’s Fretboard operates out of seven studios in the heart of Civano in Southeast Tucson. Three studios are equipped for audio recording and band practice.

Registration & Scheduling

  • After completing the registration form, new students will receive an email welcoming them to the Student Portal - our scheduling, billing, and communications platform. Students and parents can use the portal to:​

    • Schedule, cancel, and reschedule lessons

    • View current charges and payments

    • Access lesson notes & more!​

  • ​The Student Portal Calendar's Find and Book tab lists all available lesson times for your chosen instrument(s) and/or instructor(s). Select your preferred time and click register to secure your spot.

  • You may register for single or recurring lessons. If you are seeking 60-minute or biweekly lessons, a staff person must schedule for you - text (520) 820-5847.

Cancellation Policies

All cancellations must be made directly by students and/or parents via the Student Portal. No-shows and lessons canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged full price. (Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances at the discretion of Feagin's Fretboard staff.) If you have given 24+ hours cancellation notice for a prepaid lesson, its cost will remain in your account as a credit towards the next unpaid lesson.

 

If a teacher needs to cancel a lesson, staff will attempt to secure a substitute or reschedule. If this is not possible, the student and/or parent will be notified via phone, text, and/or email, and the lesson will not be charged for. If the canceled lesson was prepaid, its cost will remain in your account as a credit towards the next unpaid lesson.
