Now hiring: guitar, piano, violin, and voice teachers!

We are currently seeking teachers - multi-instrumentalists a plus!

​

Teachers at the Fretboard work with anywhere between 6 - 25 students a week, with most falling somewhere in the middle.

​

Generally, our hours of operation range between 2:00 - 8:00 on weekdays and 10:00 - 3:00 on weekends. We work with teachers to build a schedule that fits their availability and preferences. Our students range from 4 - 94, beginner to advanced, with a majority being beginners and children. Positions are contract roles and candidates must have current clearances (Level 1 Fingerprint Card).

​Required Qualifications:

• Passion for music and teaching

• Reliability - must have reliable transportation and be able to commit to a regular weekly schedule

• The ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback

• Ability to provide individualized instruction to students of different ages and skill levels

• Proficiency in music theory and reading sheet music

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of one's instrument(s)

• Level 1 Fingerprint Card

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificate, associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or doctorate in Music Theory, Music Performance, Audio Engineering or other related fields

• Experience with neurodivergent learners

• Performance experience
